I believe in the one and only true, holy and living God who eternally exists as the Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, distinct but inseparable, eternally One in essence and power.
I believe in the deity of Jesus Christ. He is the eternal Word made flesh, the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary and having lived a sinless life.I believe in His death providing atonement for the sins of all who believe in Him, His resurrection and ascension into heaven and His eventual personal return to earth in power and majesty.
I believe that the Holy Spirit is present in the world making people aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every believer from the moment of salvation providing power for living, understanding of spiritual truth and guidance in doing what is right.
I believe the Bible is Godís Word to us.It is the supreme source for truth for Christian belief and living. Because it is inspired by God, written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit, the Bible is truth without any mixture of error.
I believe people are made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character.Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God and a desire to be independent from Him.Therefore all are sinful which separates us from God and causes many problems in life.
I believe salvation is Godís free gift to us, but we must accept it.No matter how hard we try we can never be good enough to be in relationship with a Holy God.It is only through trusting in the atoning power of the blood of Jesus that provides forgiveness of our sins that we are able to come to God and receive eternal life.
I believe that at the moment of salvation, the Holy Spirit indwells our soul and our life begins a new course. The remainder of our earthly days is a journey of spiritual transformation. This is the process of reshaping our character and actions to reflect Christ-likeness.
I believe that as the Bride of Christ, the Church is to be a spiritually unified body of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. I believe in the priesthood of all believers and as such I am committed to spread the Word of His love and forgiveness, bring encouragement, instruction and inspiration, and minister to the need of others.I am committed to a constantly ongoing, growing personal relationship to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
